Dr. Tony Montgomery

Dr. Tony Montgomery grew up in the small town of Jefferson in Northeast Texas. His love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking and camping all started as a young child while spending time outside with his family.  He looks back fondly on his childhood, and still carries those small-town values and principles with him today.

Dr. Montgomery was a 4-sport athlete in high school and went on to play baseball at the collegiate level. In 2006, his Eastfield Baseball team in Mesquite, TX won the NJCAA Div III National Championship.  He then went on to earn his college degree from Texas Tech University with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry.
After college, Dr. Tony moved to China for a year to teach English as a second language. This is where his love of travel and other cultures began. Over the next few years, he would go on to visit more than 30 other countries around the world.

He then returned to school, and graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Louisville, KY. After dental school, he completed 5 years of rigorous residency training with a one-year internship at LSU Shreveport, followed by four years at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He feels lucky to have trained under some of the most recognized names in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including Dr. Robert Marciani, Dr.Deepak Krishnan and Dr. Ghali Ghali.  Dr. Tony received extensive training in broad scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma surgery, and general anesthesia.

Dr. Tony met his wife, Brittany, in Louisville, KY.  They moved to the Concho Valley in 2022, and both being from small towns, they are enjoying the “big city” of San Angelo. They have 3 beautiful children together, Hazel (4), Harlan (2), and Goldie (newborn) that keep them busy. Outside of the office, Dr. Tony loves spending time with his family and pets, exploring West Central Texas, and the occasional round of golf.
